Shopping amazement :)

Does anyone else notice how some of the slowest moving people in the store can block the aisle in an instant?

I move pretty fast when shopping because I want to get in and get out ASAP. I'm sure security has watched me charging down the aisle more than once. I just beller "coming thorough" and expect everyone to move or face the wrath.

But....I'm constantly amazed at how someone who moves so slowly can block the aisle so quickly. I work with large animals trying to kill me on a daily basis and have developed an awareness of time and space but more times than not I'm brought to a standstill where a mere second before the path was wide open and the person who did it was moving like a turtle on a winter day. It's almost like a martial art they way they block with such simple efficiency.

Just about did a flip into the shopping cart to avoid a freak accident just last night....

When I was working as an ER nurse I'd always hit the foodstore coming home and used to have the same problem (slow people) because I was hungry as a bear and wanted that food shopping over with pronto. The worst shift to come off was the late one in the wee hours of the morning when very strange people were doing their shopping. They seemed to be heavily medicated and would often come close and ask me questions and have no sense of personal boundaries. I don't mind talking with strangers but it certainly slowed down the shopping process.

It was a relief to get on day work. Then I'd food shop on the way to work and pop it into the refrigerator there and know it was all done.
Funny the little things that can make life easier.

In my best Darth Vadar voice "He will pay for his insolence" LOL!
( problem is he can kick my butt, so I'd best be careful with how many threats I toss in his general direction! )

Great posting here Judith.

Don't worry about NR kickin' your butt. The way I hear it, he can't even take out ACS playin' hockey, anymore. Ain't that right ACS?

'Sides, he's just a rude little man, for not using your proper name. Hell, just look at his avatar.

I know of two young gentlemen who are heading in the general direction of a bottom tanning. 8)

Actually the name Judith is not stuffy at all. Rather romantic actually :D

My namesake was a jewish widow who used her great beauty and feminine wiles to behead some dude.

For some reason the nickname : "Trouble" seems to follow me ..Hmm not really sure as to why? "Smiley" is another one that rears it's head from time to time.

I've never been to the Judith Basin in Montana, but it always had a certain romantic sounding wild west ring to it. Judith is kind a pretty name. Your mommy must have really liked you.
