a purebred heifer and her calf last summer she is doing a great job. trying out pic posting from photobucket

The cattle look awesome. You can resize the pictures either before you load them onto Photo Bucket, or afterwards. Just got to edit option on Photo Bucket. I think after you resize them, you have to put the new link back on Ranchers.

<img src="http://ranchers.net/photopost/data/500/medium/RSCN0951.JPG" /> trying to size pic see if this works The pic is of a first calf hiefer off a sire from Austraila called Belmore Jackaroo and i bred her to a pb shorthorn bull pic was taken last summer getting the calf ready to AI in couple of months.

Good looking pair! We had a few that looked like that once......darn few! Our first experience calving two year old hiefers was when we bought 30some bred Shorthorn hieffers. Didn't know anything about easy calving bulls at the time, nor even what the bulls were, other than black. Big mistake. Had to pull most of them and too many didn't survive. But the survivors sure did grow and made nice cows. Our family calved only three year olds before that, which was about mid 1960's I think.
