It must be tough for some of these guys to sit and write different comments for a bunch of yearling bulls that there really isn't much to distinguish them with. I saw one catalog of "lookalike" feedlot simmental steers, err bulls, this week where the spiel on each one was a listing of how good he will be as he is off "the highselling bull at xxx sale that cost $10,000 etc" or his dam goes back to the high selling show cow xxxx.
One bull's dam was notable in that dams by that particular sire "know how to produce well before their prime" :???:
Another bull that "comes ready to work with a good set of EPDs" had a bw of 100, 205 day weight 962lbs (weaned off
grass  :roll

He was 1525lbs at 365 days - ready to work? more like ready to rest his lard ass
Another peeve of mine is when they mention that the "sale manager" of the multi-breeder sale picked this bull - "he thought it would make a great addition to the sale" Doesn't that tell you that it's really a purebred circus? - that an outsider can pick your "best" bull to compliment his sale :???:
Each to their own but the more I see of the show and sale world the more I realise they live in a fantasy world totally removed from commercial beef production.
