I see the Sinclair female sale is going to be on dv auction on the internet..Starts at 10 Mountain time...Might be where I spend my morning as my fencing crew that was supposed to show up at 6 never did- and I got as much done as I can do alone...And I don't think I'll be fencing this afternoon as they are predicting temps around 103 today....They said there is even a possibility it could break the old record of 107  ....
Bring her on- I already got the airconditioner fired up ;)

Looks like they had a pretty good sale. The top end really sold good, then a guy could have bought some pretty cheap.

Yep- a $75,000 and a $80,000 bred cow-- averaged $7200...Some butcher fat cows  ...
I liked seeing folks paying lots for the 3R9 and D806 bloodlines- as thats what I bred a lot to this year--so glad to see theres an interest in them  ...

Temps 104 here right now- about a 20 mph wind that feels like its blowing out of a blast furnace.... :(

They sure have made alot of money on the flush that lot 1 is out of. They have made some good cattle in that flush too though with the Net Present Value bull and other sisters that were out of that flush.

Hopefully that will keep the semen sales up on NPV for the next year with Accelerated. I have a few calves out of him that are really pretty nice, both registered and commercial. Bred to him again so hopefully it will work the same way.

Lot 1 cow, D806 x 4465 cow brought $80,000, N Bar Shadow's full sister was $75,000...I think that was Lot 4...Legacy 3R9 is a 4465 son...

The only thing I saw wrong with the cattle- and I guess it can't really be called wrong was they were butcher fat...They definitely haven't had to walk far to find another spear of grass or trail a couple miles to the water hole every day.....
