E-mailed a friend who is a chemist, asked him to tell me the size of a prion. Just thought some of you might see some lying around.

Mike,
Size of a prion (approx.) would be equivalent to 2 kDa=2000Da(Daltons)
1 Dalton=1 Atomic mass unit (AMU)=1/12 the mass of a Carbon-12 Atom.

Hey Mike, for interest sake, ask him the size of a SNP or a single nucleotide polymorphism? Or just a chromosome if you want?
