Brought back some memories from the past. When we were a lot younger, we did something similar. Not having a saddle, we tied the rope to the horse's tail. I was too young to ski, so I rode the horse. My older brother did the skiing along the road where the snow plow had pushed up a snowbank, and the horse didn't have to run in the deep snow.
