I just talked to the sister who lives near Austin-- she said it was 37 degrees and was sleeting...Thats the same temp we have here, but its sunny here- with a cold 25mph wind....

She said her hummingbirds were under her window sill looking a little chilled.....

4 1/2 inches of snow here. The pecan and mesquite trees leaved completely out 3 weeks ago.

After 9 months of no rain in '05 and everything going to wild fires, and the moderate drought last year, we'll take water in any form it comes. We've already had more rain and water this year than in all of '05 and most of '06. This is a wonderful year so far.

Jassy, I knew you had somethin to do with this !!!! LOL I had coveralls and coats all washed and put away. Then had to drag em back out today. I was forced to wear my coveralls IN PUBLIC!!! because we went to the horse auction tonight. Lil Lilly volunteered to ride a friends horse thru the ring...bless her heart her hands were red..her nose was red..and she was froze half to death by the time that horse's turn finally came up. The lady forgot to bring the headstall and reins..so they had to do some fast borrowin, and managed with a halter n lead rope.
