Yes, you can occasionally find me in the Walmart meat Section.....I am there checking out what they do.....

And, telling people they can buy great Beef from me instead, LOL....haven't been run out yet, but usually I am not there long...

Well.....Today Walmarts 7% Ground Beef was at $3.68......Mine is $3.50......Yes, they don't have "The Lowest Prices...Always", LOL..And mine is from local calves, not old butcher cows blended in...Dry aged on mine as well.....

Thier roasts were generally all over $4.00 per Pound...Mine are lower..

Walmart....."Eat my britches", LOL...

Don't get too excited. You actaully want to have more don't you? The only thing good about Walmart bringing up their price is that you can also bring up yours. Us the bastiges as a rod to jump over, not a rod to limbo under. I KNOW that you have better product PPRM. :)

LOL...I know this is short lived and am just having fun.....

I just spent the last several months seeing every grocer in the area advertizing Rib Steaks for $4.99/lb...Yes, I had no problem selling mine for double that, but just tired of seeing it. So, a little moment to do a happy dance ....

As far as my current pricing, I am holding.....It is a nice margin and I will just wait and see......

I have increased value with Jerky and some cuts such as Tri-tip, Flank Steaks, Flat Iron Steaks and Chuck Steaks...Also, Ground Sirloin (Thanks to Jack In the Box for thier "Where does the Angus come from) and Pet products....

It is bringing the low end value that I do best.....I feel I have added several hundred in value to each animal focusing on this....

I do hear you and if Walmarts prices become long term, I do not want to be priced under them,

I hear ya on those sale prices PPRM and good on you for everything else.

I am almost embarassed to walk past the good old Dairy Queen up here these days. Two Momma Burgers for $2.99. Shoot man we used to pay three bucks or more for a burger when we were drinking $7.00 a case stubbies back in the late 70's. Pretty sickening how these food industry pirates use the age old supply and demand excuse to keep beef in that bait and switch retail game. "Come get our Two momma burgers and we'll quench your thirst with a $3.00 Root Beer." Suply and demand -- Horse **** - it's all about the game.

And I'll bet that that $7.00 we bought a case for in the 70's will barley get you a jug when you buy it to share with Old Kaiser when you and I get together at Hooters in Cardston (wait a minute --- dry town) - How about Lethbridge you old fart. I guess I could come down to Billings --- GW doesn't really know where that is does he?

I don't think there is a Hooters in Billings- anyway Grandma never has let me find it....In fact I've never seen one in Montana that I can remember...

Careful with the Hooters promo, boys!

I know a lady (she says many of her friends feel the same way) who is a conservative, Christian, AND a liberated woman!

SHe is so offended by Hooters that when her young 9 year old asked to go there so he could see the pretty ladies, she stated if she EVER heard of him going there, she would start a chain of restaurants featuring nearly naked men clad in flimsy g-strings and that she would call the restaurants "Pet*#$" or "Pec#&r$". Sonny boy never brought that subject up again! She had the means to do it, and she would have done it!
