“GLENN: sn't illegal immigration a crime in and of itself?
GIULIANI: No.
GLENN: Aren't you saying --
GIULIANI: Glenn --
GLENN: You're protecting criminals by saying that being treated as a criminal is unfair.
GIULIANI: Glenn, it's not a crime. I know that's very hard for people to understand, but it's not a federal crime.
GLENN: It's a misdemeanor but if you've been nailed, it is a crime. If you've been nailed, ship back and come back, it is a crime.
GIULIANI: Glenn, being an illegal immigrant, the 400,000 were not prosecuted for crimes by the federal government, nor could they be.... In fact, when you throw an immigrant out of the country, it's not a criminal proceeding. It's a civil proceeding.”

Technically Guiliani is correct-- it is not a crime to illegally enter the country...But what they are is a foreigner who either illegally crossed our US international political border, be it by land, sea or air, or a foreigner who legally entered our country but nevertheless overstay their visa in order to live and/or work therein-- which then as a foreigner not legally in the country makes them an invader-- which have NO RIGHTS guarantee under our US Constitution....

Our Constitution commands the President and Congress to Protect our borders and coastlines from all foreign invaders....

A fact our GW and the rest of the neocon elitist and corporate bought out D.C. has forgotten for the past 15 years.....

Article I, Section 8, states, “To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.” Article IV, Section 4, states, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”

In Bush's oath of office, he swore to defend the Constitution of the United States-- but why should we expect him to obey this section- he hasn't any of the other  :( :( .

I think what will be hard for Giuliani to understand, is that the people do understand....and it is pissing US off that politicians can't seem to understand that we want our borders secured.

If there is one clear non partisan issue it is "SECURE THE BORDERS".

add this to another Reason for republicans to support Duncan Hunter...and deport Rudy..

I like it when someone makes a good point with humor...

,..now if we had a way to get that point across to "both sides"
