Rained off and on all day yesterday- moved back in about midnite and rained all night... Then this morning the temp started dropping- and the rain turned to big old snowflakes.. Ground was white at the north place for a little while... Temp now is 34 degrees.....Picked up another .3 of moisture so far...

Big Muddy may be plowing snowdrifts  :p

I hope the full moon on the 23rd- Harvest Moon- beings us a weather pattern change- and we get our Indian Summer..

It is 96 outside in the shade right now in Alabama. However, it was a lovely 68 this morning early. It it werent so dry the grass would be growing good.

We show a 0 cent chance of rain for the next 10 days and it ain't rained in a little more that 3 weeks. Way too dry for this time of year. somebody needs to open a door and send us a little rain.

we've got chances of rain tonight. if that happens i'm guessing we'll see some snow flakes seems the temp is supposed to be in the low 30s.

No rain or snow here either, but we did have the first killer frost of the season. I covered my bedding plants with heavy comforters but still lost all of my begonias ..

I freakin hate our short warm season here.

If y'all could get rid of all of your snakes and bugs I would seriously consider relocating the ranch .

Hopefully the Harvest Moon will come thru- and haying and harvesting can get completed....From the Weatherguessers forecast for next weekend:

"SATURDAY ONWARD... MODELS ON THE SYNOPTIC TO PLANETARY SCALE APPEAR TO COME BACK INTO PHASE WITH A SYNOPTIC RIDGE REBUILDING ACROSS THE... INTERMOUNTAIN WEST AND GREAT PLAINS. THIS SHOULD MEAN CLEARING SKIES AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES WARMER THAN UPPER 60S SEASONAL NORMS."
