We have industrial hemp that grows wild around here... It has a mellowing affect on animals but too much can cause some other problems as well. Cows don't eat much of it but goats suppossedly just eat it into the ground... I prefer a 16 foot mower to keep it under control but even shreading it up, the odor in the air makes me ill.. Not as bad as Jimson weed but bad enough... 2-4D does a heck of a job on it...

thanks to you, mrsgreg, i find myself unable to stop the fits of laughter...hope it does not show in my spelling ability while trying to type this out to ya!!!!

judith---i agree about the 4 wheel-driver who ends up going back wards after just having given ya the "california howdy" signal!!! As a nurse, I find myself in quite the dilemma after driving past them later, finding them stranded in the ditch, standing outside their vehicle, trying to wave down a ride into town!!!

Snowing here really hard after receiving almost an inch of rain overnight!! Could make for some really nasty roads...so.........................................

BE CAREFUL!!!

It snows here...I don't go!! I'm more fearful of the ' others' out there than I am of my own driving. 4x4 isn't the cure-all for certain types of weather.

If we didn't go when it was snowing Kola...we'd be homeward bound, could easily be 10 months of the year. Now if its snowing raining and foggy,I may consider staying home....this combination does often happen :?

Started snowing here just before dark- nothing sticking yet as the temp is 34, but it looks like it could be white by morning...Weather boys are saying 2-3" on the ground out of this storm.... :(
