A couple of college girls who were friends of my sister were coming home from a dance one night when they heard that song. It presented a challenge to them, and they right away headed their car for Amarillo. Since it is quite a ways from Nebraska to Amarillo, they didn't get there by morning but did arrive late the next afternoon. They fulfilled their dream anyway. :)

I got to see George in '92 0r '93 in Vegas at the Finals. He played at the Hilton ballroom. It was gen admin seating at a dinner show for 2500 people. We tipped the mater dei $200 bucks and sat center table against the stage. Like having George Strait stand on you kitchen table and sing to ya! He has bunches of great songs. My girlfriend didn't even know i exsisted that evening! King George is the man. :D

Think how much more you appreciate having a great wife after having the other kind first. All is well that ends well. Congratulations for getting it right. :)
