So much for vetting

Abdul Razak Ali Artan (d. November 28, 2016) was a Muslim Somali refugee and legal permanent resident of the United States who had been a logistics management major in the Max M. Fisher College of Business at the time of the attack.[38][39][40][41] Though OSU said Artan was 18, investigators said official records conflicted on his actual age, and believed he may be older.

Artan previously attended Columbus State Community College from the fall of 2014 to the summer of 2016

I had wondered this from the reporting, high school grad, two year community college, first year at university..

Artan was the third-eldest of seven children. He alleged that he was born in a refugee camp after his family fled Somalia.[7] However, a senior U.S. government official said that Artan left Somalia with the rest of his family in 2007, and that they spent seven years in a refugee camp in Pakistan.

Artan and his family first settled in a temporary shelter in Dallas, Texas, for approximately 24 days before relocating to Columbus.[44][45][46] They lived together in four units of an apartment at the Havenwood Townhomes

Four units? who paid for them? They were here 24 days before moving from Dallas to Ohio.

Artan had not been known to the FBI as a potential threat prior to the attack

let see, Boston bombers, Orlando shooter, San Barnidino slaughter, Ft Hood shooter.. bombings in NYC and NJ. How many more can the Obama FBI ignore?

yet after the fact they know.
Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan visited Washington, D.C. late last week and bought a knife at Home Depot

Artan also bought a second knife at a Walmart in Columbus the morning before he drove onto campus, rammed his car into a crowd on the sidewalk and began wildly stabbing people until he was shot dead by a police officer.

In the jumbled Facebook post, Artan called al-Awlaki a "hero"

This does NOT add up.

Artan was born in Somalia but lived in Pakistan for seven years before coming to the United States in 2014 with his mother and six siblings. He graduated from Columbus State Community College with an associates degree in May and was a student at Ohio State at the time of the attack.

left Somalia with the rest of his family in 2007, and that they spent seven years in a refugee camp in Pakistan

He moved to the U.S. on a refugee visa with his mother and six siblings in 2014
He alleged that he was born in a refugee camp after his family fled Somalia

he and his family claim he was born in the refugee camp. 2007, so at age 7 he came here, two years later he graduated from community college and was attending Ohio state.

Who vetted him, a stupid idiot?

Artan was the third-eldest of seven children
my bet is the older siblings were to old so they lied to make it look as if they were a desperate family. which would gain liberal sympathies.
if each adult child was vetted most would not be able to come over as refugees.

"Do you know anything the gov't does a good job of?"

Good question - no I don't know of any government action more efficient than a private alternative. The next time you're waiting at the DMV or farm welfare office or any other govt office, ask yourself if you'd be better off if Walmart was dispensing the same service. Would the U.S. have the worlds most expensive education service delivering the 37th most effective if any competitive business dispensed the service? That old guy greeting you at Walmart, yeah, when did a government parasite behave so affably?

Did you hear that Obama is trying to get 2500 more refugees that were rejected by Australia into the US, before anyone figures out where they are coming from? I think he is trying to bring in terrorists to bring down the US from inside.

So many cities are getting refugees and they have no idea where they are coming from and have never been notified they are coming. Something really stinks here.

This is infuriating

considering other countries have offered to take them.

In an unprecedented move, the U.S. State Department has classified details on refugees to be resettled in America via a secret deal made with Australia. The bi-lateral agreement, which Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull called a “one-off,” involves 2,465 people currently being held in Papua New Guinea and Nauru who will now be transferred onto U.S. soil.

Screeners from the U.S. Customs and Immigration Services are set to leave for the Pacific Island nations next month to begin vetting the refugees.

Officials, however, did confirm countries of origin to be Iran, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq and Sudan, as well as some deemed “stateless.”

Iran, Sudan and Syria are the three countries on the U.S. current State Sponsors of Terrorism list. But Barnett said the “stateless” category is most worrisome.

“These could be Burmese Muslims, who have posed assimilation issues for every nation which has taken them,” said Barnett. “It’s a dangerous precedent which says, ‘We’ll take any ethnic group with which you don’t get along.’”

Corcoran says the security issues with accepting these illegal aliens are astronomical, insisting that the U.S. should not open its arms to the problems other nations are looking to pawn off on it – as it has done during the last two administrations.

“Surely these people are undocumented with only their personal stories to rely on,” Corcoran contends. “But we have been transforming them into refugees and placing them in your American towns ever since the Bush Administration.

once here deportation is a LOOOONNNGGG drawn out process. many disappearing and only found once the murder or commit a crime.

There was an Aussie on TV the other day saying he was getting calls from people in the Aussie Government asking him what he thinks Trump will do once he is in office. If these refused refugees don't get to the US before Trump takes office, they are worried they will be stuck with them until they can find someone else dumb enough to take them off their hands.
