I would have never figgered 2 of my favorite cowgals were goat ropers, you better git rid of that damn thing Lilly before your neighbors see it,tarnish your reputation.
But since you already have it,I figger a good name would be worthless,or if it gets to big around the middle and needs a girdle call em grncrk, then i study that picture of the goat you posted and with that dumb look on its face,Im inclined to call him big dummie from big beaver,or maybe lil dummie from east Texas .
Was out west again, ever time i see those tumble weeds I think of you, want me to stop and pick one up for you, maybe they would grow there in east Texas :D
good luck

Her name is Mrs. B.... LOL She's had her head hung up in the fence numerous times already....and tried to use Lil Lilly for rock climbin......assisted in stabbing a piece of wire in the palm of Lil Lilly's hand.....thanks for all ya'lls suggestions tho. it was fun. Haymaker the goat will be gone come the first week of June. She's hid in the pen way out back....now if we could just keep her quiet

Guys up here with goats tape a pices of pvc pipe on the horns so they can't get their head though the net wire. It seems to work pretty good.

You're not gonna be able to keep that goat outa trouble, ever goat xperience i had was no good, was visitin some goat people once about a fence problem, the folks seemed nice friendly, that ole gal had a passle of youngsters, pretty soon bout 3 of em come inside laffin so hard they could barely talk, motioned me to come outside,so I follow the kids, they pointed to my then new pickup that has 2 goats on the roof and 3 more on the hood..............somehow I failed to see the humor
good luck

PS Like ole elmo sez, build you a good tight fence, then step back and throw a bucket of water on it..........if water gets thru,so will goats

Well hopefully she won't escape. The pen is built outta cattle panels, then has inside that against the panels, smaller hog wire. The gate is where she was gettin her head thru, it's just hog wire. But we got that fixed a while ago....by takin balin wire, and makin the holes smaller by puttin a wire half way between ever one. now the holes are about 3 inches wide, if she gets her head in that...she deserves whatever she gets. (I'm kiddin) kinda.....lol

Goats are a pain, had a Toggenburg, she was sweet but would just make noise all day,and not to big on goats milk. But if you have a brush clearing job, there the ones to have for sure.My buddy runs 200 head for removal jobs, mostly noxious weed abatement and sage & buck brush eradication.A day or two on an acre,no more brush

I would think a good hot wire would work but then I have no experience with goats

Hot lead work's.

We had some sheep and goat's about 8 years ago every time I would walk across the yard they would blat to high heaven. With the welding shop 200 ft from the barn they could see someone all day long it got sickening. One wendsday (Sale day) at the local barn I got sick of them backed up layed a strip of feed from one end of the trailer to the other problem solved.
