Socialism Cometh

For those of you losing your minds at the prospect of a "socialist" becoming president, just take a gander at this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg0wiOHc9tI

A real-live socialist folk-singer singing a song written by a socialist on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Check out Obama's face as they pan the crowd.

They even sing the verses that were dropped from the song when it became a staple in elementary school songbooks.

The last eight years have certainly strained my love of country, but I'm pretty proud to be an American right now!

There's alot that you wouldn't do if you weren't a socialist, Obama has pretty well done them all.

Did you see the pic of Che, on his campaign wall?

Yes, I did see the picture of Che on the wall.

And I was very impressed that Obama personally decorated each of his thousands of campaign offices and still had time to kick some Republican butt.

you keep following Obama, and you may need to change your location from shiftless, wisconsin to spineless wisconsin

You see, Jigs, that's a difference between you and me.

I don't follow Obama. I worked to get him elected and now I'll work to hold his feet to the fire on issues that I care about.

I think you're mistaking my type for the "my President-County wrong or right" crowd" - the 22% of Americans - who continued to support Bush through all his mistakes.

I did enjoy your tearful tribute to the man in an earlier thread today. It is good to see that evidence and facts aren't powerful enough to dissuade Bush's most stalwart supporters.

Speaking of evidence and facts (and delusions), how about you tell us again that Obama supports the second amendment.

While you're at it, tell us why he joined the New Party.

And hey, why did he lie about hearing Wright?

When did I tell you he supports the second amendment - particularly your interpretation of it?

I do admit that I think that the hysterics of the gun nuts over this issue are amusing, if distracting.

If I remember correctly, I think I said I didn't care if he supports it or not, he would have had my vote either way.

I'm about as interested in Obama's support for the 2nd amendment as I am in his support for the 7th amendment.

I'm much more interested in the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th - many clauses of which Mr. Bush has his own peculiar interpretation for.

People are in "hysterics" because Obama is in power now and he has a history of radical anti-gun legislation. He lacks the ability to reason on this issue (and others).

His history also reveals himself to be a liar when he says he supports the second amendment.
