When showing some discust for one of my neighbors the other day about his constant interuption of his cell phone I made the coment that if the government were to give the citizens a chance to vote for dictatorship and socialist government and keep their internet, computers, and cell phones or keep our present form of government without them they would give the country away as long as they could keep their addiction. Well here is the proof.

Life is full of simple pleasures, so having to choose between one of those many pleasures—such as coffee, caffeine or even sex—and your mobile phone can be difficult.

One-third of all respondents would be more willing to give up sex for a week than their mobile phone.
Of the respondents who indicated they would be more willing to give up sex than their mobile phone for a week, 70% were women.
54% of all respondents would be more willing to give up exercise for a week than their mobile phone.
So what about our guilty pleasures? 55% of respondents would be more willing to give up caffeine for a week than their mobile phone, 63% would be more willing to give up chocolate, and 70% would be willing to forego alcohol.
One in five respondents are more willing to go shoeless than phoneless for a week.
iPhone users (43%) were more likely to say they'd go a week without shoes than Android users (27%) or BlackBerry users (25%).

sorry I would give up just about anything than give up my phone.....BUT then you have to look where I live, my S/O is over the road so the only way to keep in touch.

your looking at this wrong...

I don't exercise, eat to much chocolate, and I spend most of the summer barefoot.. and since my wife might be one of 70% that is giving up sex, I might as well keep my phone..

but since I would then need a stiff drink... and a cup of coffee the next morning, and I would have to turn off the dang thing off anyways so my head didn't hurt so much when she called to yell at me.. :? so count me in the minority... I really don't need a cell phone that much..
