here are some pics i took while feeding this morning...

windy today...the calves quickly figured out that their moms on the feed line made a good wind break.

our herd marker. this guy is 4 this spring, a former roping steer that we raised. I was going to sell him several times, but decided to keep now that he's big enough he couldn't get his head stuck in a feeder if he wanted to. i can't wait to see what he looks like when he's 10-12 years old.

Fancy looking cattle :D. You sure can't tell your calves went through a blizzard marathon. Are you all supposed to get this next storm? Thanks for sharing.

thanks for the comment WyomingRancher. I think all we are going to get out of this system is some light rain. At this point we don't need it, but its better than snow. A shower or two rolled through last night, cool, cloudy, but dry so far today. We need the sun and lots of it! hope the storm isn't hitting you to hard down there!

Leanin' H....I forgot to write this by that steer's pic, but I also kept him so I had something to practice on :D :wink:
