They were taken this morning. We haven't had hardly any snow. Just a couple centimeters. And, it got up to +7 or 8 here today. Add in the winds, and well, no snow. I sure would like some though......

randi--you just keep that nice weather coming--almost 50 yesterday and today I saw the temp once at 56 :D and no wind... :D :D Just came in cause its getting dark and its still 50....
Thats the reason I still haven't had to roll out a bale yet....

Even the long range forecast thru the 20th have no major predictions of impending storms- or drastic cold spells..... :D :D :D

Them old cows of yours look about as contented as ours

Well, I hope it does stay nice, but I also would really like to see some snow. We had a really big wind here Wednesday, and the land was blowing. So we really do need the moisture. If I could be picky, about a foot of snow, and temps holding just below freezing   .

The cows are pretty content. We have been feeding since Dec 26. We just don't have enough land to run them out any longer. But that extra month of grazing will save us this year, if we'd had to feed through Dec also, we would be pretty nip and tuck on hay. As it is we have more than enough.
