Some Republicans Take a Scorched-Hill Tack

If the dems really do take over the committees and do some real oversight, the corporate backing republicans who have sold out our democracy will be exposed. There could be a big bloodbath in the republican party.

It's digusting. They worked about two weeks in November and will only work one week in December! Yet every one of them will draw their full salary for the year. They've left the Dems to clean up their mess, and apparently they think it's funny to have not funded the government!

I think there's already a bit of blood letting. Senator Brownback is testing the waters for a presidental run. And former AL Chief Justice Roy Moore has said the "Conservatives" should run their own candidate. I assume he's expecting to get some support for that position himself. The south is the only place Republicans are really strong. If Brownback and Moore get into the race and split that vote with McCain or the official Republican candidate, just about any Dem can win.
