Very insightful.

I can see that you all are still meaner than cat pizz!!!

Hillary 2016!!!

"Even though I am not happy with the final outcome. I think its funny how people say that everybody who voted for Obama is on welfare, even though he won the states that are more educated and have a higher household median income. Obama had 55% of the postgraduate votes while Romney only had 42% so obviously educated people voted for Obama. Republicans need to become more appealing to minority votes because they are now becoming the majority. If they don't become more appealing to these people the republican party will loose every election for now on. "

Today's minority voters are rapidly becoming tomorrow's majority. If the only option for pubs is to become more like donks, I say it's time to hang it up.

At least the USA had a good 200+ year run and many of us were here for the best of it.

Enjoy your new and improved USA.

"Educated" in no way implies "Brilliance Of Mind".

The majority of college professors in the U.S. are as crazy as a bat and indoctrinated towards socialism, are progressive, and dingbat liberalism.

Your post means nothing.

I saw where obama got most of the communist vote, the free cell phone crowd, the smelly occupy folks and those people who rope antelopes. Not to mention those people with the name jingo.

My cousin and sister are some of those educated people that voted for Obama. I press them on his lies about job creation - on his adding 6T in debt, no budget, Benghazi, "More flexibility" with Putin, etc... and they don't have an answer for any of it - wasn't even aware of most of it - yet the voted for the image of the SOB of what they are told he is. Their education is doing nothing for them if they can't think rationally.

Welcome back, Kolanuraven. Hate to say it, but I have actually missed you and the glorious arguements that we have had in the past.

Just for the sake of discussion, I would be willing to bet that many of the so-called "educated people" are ones with quite possibly "too much education." They flaunt their diplomas, and have high paid "positions" that dispense more theories than actual vital life-sustaining usable commodities. The left tends to be either the Liberal elite or leeches of society.

I keep hearing this BS spewed. Please enlighten us as to what, exactly, we should be doing differently to "appeal" to these "minorities" who don't like us.

Republicans/Conservatives, by and large, still believe in the principal of a constitutionally limited Federal Government. We believe in a REPUBLIC. That means that the Federal Government is limited by the Constitution in what they can/can't do, which is very little. No social/welfare programs, no sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong. Everything else is at the discretion of the individual states. That is the whole point of a Republic.

Modern Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Socialist, by and large, don't believe in any of those principals. The want a strong central government that controls every faction of citizens lives, with no autonomy for the states or individuals. They do not want people to have any control over, or responsibility for, their own lives.

So enlighten us with your wisdom. What should we do differently so they will find the 1st description more attractive than the second.

There in comes much of the problem-- the Republicans talk that talk out of one side of their mouth-- then talk the opposite out of the other side or when they do something... Like the idiot old grey haired men running for Congress telling women how they should feel about rape  That idiocracy ran more away from Romney/Repub land than any others- both women and men... Then you have national leaders (Palin) campaigning on their beliefs on sex education.. This is another issue that should be left local....Just like abortion and Gay marriages- the Federal government should not be involved...
Another issue where I see the Repubs losing more and more followers is that they are trying to combine church and state... Many of the major Repub players are stupidly running away followers in a country that was supposed to have been formed around "freedom of religion"- (ex. Bachmann and her crew of dummy followers wanting all Muslims in D.C. investigated)....

Anyone that might think a little different than Bubba down the road is to be shunned and chased away ....

And then when you have more federal bureacracy grown with the last Republican Administration (GW) than any other going back to FDR ...

No wonder educated folks are fleeing the Repub Party...

Hmmm, I can't recall ANYONE telling me how I should feel about rape. I'm fully capable of making my own decisions on the matter. I don't need anyone else to tell me that, whether it's a man or woman

That idiocracy ran more away from Romney/Repub land than any others- both women and men... Then you have national leaders (Palin) campaigning on their beliefs on sex education..I'm pretty sure that's been her position all along. The problem is that the Fed's require sex ed. Shouldn't that be at a parents discretion??? This is another issue that should be left local....Just like abortion
Abortion WAS regulated locally until the Roe v Wade decision. Everytime a state tries to have any say on abortion now, it is the Dem's who fight it, not Repulicans
and Gay marriages- the Federal government should not be involved...
The Federal Government got involved with Gay Marriage in 1996 with the passage of the Defense of Marriage Act. It passed with large majorities in both houses and was signed into law by a Dem president. When that voters of individual states have tried to regulate it with in their state, it again has been Dem's that fought it

Another issue where I see the Repubs losing more and more followers is that they are trying to combine church and state... Many of the major Repub players are stupidly running away followers in a country that was supposed to have been formed around "freedom of religion"- (ex. Bachmann and her crew of dummy followers wanting all Muslims in D.C. investigated)....Ummm, she was aking for an investigation into ONE Muslim, who had family ties to a known terrorist organization, who also happen to be an aide to the Secretary of State. That doesn't seem terribly unreasonable under our current circumstances.
Anyone that might think a little different than Bubba down the road is to be shunned and chased away ....

And then when you have more federal bureacracy grown with the last Republican Administration (GW) than any other going back to FDR ...

You're the one talking out both sides of your mouth. You are vitriolic toward Republicans for their shortcomings, yet you have nothing to say about democrats who are far more severe in their violations of liberty. You want to believe there is some utopic consensus out there on social issues that are more favorable to Dem's, but the numbers don't support it.
Even the very liberal electorate of California voted against gay marriage, but they were disenfranchised by a court system who swept away their will.
You talk about your "very conservative" beliefs, but your arguments support an authoritative and facist central government.

Oldtimer why can't you get it through your thick booze soaked skull Republicans are not the one wanting to be involved it a person sexual habits. The only time I hear anything about Abortion and birth control is when the friggin Dems want to stick their noses into someones bedroom and use tax payer money to pay for what happens in those bedrooms. As I see it Republicans feel if you are going to PLAY YOU PAY FOR THE PRESSURE. As far as Rape I believe most Republican support help in that situation. But you would never know that by the friggin lies the Dems spew.

And Kola. my dad had an old saying. "Common sense has been educated right out of that person" Just because you have a degree from an Ivy League School does not mean you have any common sense. All that means is you had money or borrowed enough money to buy an education that was most likely provided to you by a VERY LIBERAL PROFESSOR.

And if the only way to get the support of a majority of minorities is to promise them amnesty once they broke US laws to get to the US, while others wait their turn to come to the US LEGALLY then the US is doomed. As the more you grant a pass to those who break laws the more will come illegal to avoid the cost and time it takes to come the LEGAL ROUTE.

I honestly fear the US is now doomed for a very long time as those that live off the government, including all those well educated ones holding Government backed student loans you speak of, and those looking for a pathway to citizenship even though they don't deserve it, now out number those that do not rely on the government for a check. Sad days ahead until the Democrat supported leaches realize the US is broke and can't afford to hand out money like it is candy on Halloween.

You know what they say about most professions.... Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach.

It took about 4 years in the real world to wear off all the knowledge I "learned" in school regarding the economy and such.

It is easy to get college degrees. But to take that degree and put it to use and offer society is something else. Many do just that. Those that can not fit into society and offer society something many times end up teaching where they are not challenged by society. The only ones that challenge the profs are kids who know their grade depends on nodding yes to the profs.

Please, please, please OT post a link to a story of major pub players trying to combine church and state. Should be a piece of cake for the guy who managed to dig up every shred of dirt on the internet on McSame in 2008.

When you pass yourslef off as Black, you get the black vote, when you accept millions of illegal aliens you get the hispanic vote, when you change your position on abortion you get the promiscuous unmarried female vote and when you accept queers and lesbians and approve of them marrying you get their vote. Give GM and Chrysler to the unions you get their vote. They simply outnumber the man/woman married, employed God fearing, anglo saxon population.

And then you have the stupid like Koala bear.

Kola, Do you know that 40 percent of illegal aliens are still receiving government benefits TWENTY YEARS later..........

If you are here illegally you should NOT be eligible for ANY government benefit.... at any time....

That is what makes Americans angry.
