Something to think about

We once had to use these to power our homes and when that didn't produce enough power

We advanced to the point of using these for power

And now Obama and the greens want us to use these for power.

Are we going in the right direction with Obama???

We might be OK BUT did you forget you have the Rockies between you and both of those cities?

Saskatchewan uses Coal Powered plants to produce power and we have already been told if Obama gets Cap and Trade through our government is looking at closing those plants. I had greenies in our yard telling me how we should be using windmills and solar to power our province and I told them From experience I know Windmills and solar can't be trusted to provide enough when the wind is not blowing and it is cloudy out. The discussion ended there. Obama has an effect on us whether you like it or not.

Perhaps. Some seem to have an unhealthy preoccupation with him though

Perhaps some like to stick their heads in the sand and think what happens south of the border isn't going to effect them too

Some of us squawked like hell when the last retard in office was setting the rest of the world up for disaster and we were practically branded as heretics, told to mind our own business, etc. So now I think it best to mostly just watch, I don't get to vote anyway.

Nobody had a problem with you "mostly watching" but you seem to have a problem with others commenting.

Such an obtuse statement from one who considers herself so wise

what is so hard to understand you seem to think if you can't vote Obama out you should just sit back and "mostly watch" while he screws up the world economy and anyone that comments about him has an unhealthly preoccupation with him. So if you want to "Mostly Watch" you go right ahead but at far as I know we still live in a free country where people are free to speak their minds.

it is easy to be to busy working, making a living, enjoying all life has to offer to criticize the every move the president made, ..

just as it is difficult to sit idly by when the economy is in tatters, many are out of work and struggling to get by, and the President seems more intent on building a mosque then bridges...

Maybe you should do some research before you comment. Up until Mar 2008 I only posted in Bull session about cattle issues. I then took 8 months off from posting at all. When I came back in Nov 2008 then was the first time I ever posted in PB. And yes Obama had been elected and I felt that a JUNIOR Senator was too inexperienced to be the President of the US
AND it seems that my first instinct was right as he is in way over his head and he proves it everyday.

It looks to my like you just proved Silver's post 100%.

It has nothing to do with Red or Blue, Black or White It is about an arrogant incompetent inexperience Junior Senator, that has hid his total past from the voters, being in way over his head, and pushing his destructive agenda through a Dem controlled Senate and Congress and running the US into the ground with his policies that a majority of US voters disagree with. All you have to do is look at Obama's job approval rating to know this is becoming very apparent to those that have been really watching what has been going on.

Did I like everything Bush did NO but I (unlike Obama) give Bush credit for keeping the North American continent safe for another terrorist attack. Do I blame Bush for the economic down turn. A Bit as he should have vetod the bills the Dems controled Congress was putting on his desk in the last two years until Barney Frank agreed to do something about Fanny and Freddy.
