I heard a song several years ago about riding across the sandhills of Nebraska to visit the old homestead. I have searched and searched for that song every since then and have been unable to find any information on the singer or the song. Is there anyone that is familiar with it? I know the details are a bit sketchy but that is all I can remember of it.

I am thinking it may have been sung by the Marcy Brothers, but am having difficulty finding out anything about them on the internet.
