Soo Line Red Angus Dispersion

Hello all, looks like Ranchers didn't like my old screen name so I had to make a new one.

Did anyone on here make it to the Soo Line dispersal sale? I was there and got a few bought, but it was hard to outbid the people from Kansas.

Announced from the block: 135 Bred Females averaged $4,400; 68 Pairs averaged $6,919; 8 Heifer Calves averaged $1,831; 5 Herd Bulls averaged $19,800. 216 live lots averaged $5,413. When combined with semen and embryos it was a $1.3 million dollar day.

I'm not sure how many lots they bought, I'd have to go back through my catalog, but one of the cattle hands told us that Wildcat spent somewhere around $750,000. Silver Spur was the runner up.

Silver spur from what state?

I believe they have cattle in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. They also bought all of the bull calves from Soo Line before the sale.
