Does anyone have polydactyl cats? They are ones with extra toes. Just seeing how common they are. My family has several.

We have a neighbor with a cat with extra toes. Do they look like a regular cat but with extra toes?

We had one once, had an extra toe on every foot. We found it in our pasture a few falls ago when we were working cattle. It was a black and white kitten, and when we first seen it, we thought it was a skunk because it was all hair. Little bugger was getting chased by the cows and it was running directly towards us looking to be rescued. How a kitten could end up in the middle of a 5 quarter pasture is still a mystery! Cutest cat ever, especially with those big feet! That cat went everywhere with my husband, didn't matter what he was driving.

One of our grand-dgts is polydactyl- on one foot only.
Makes shoe-fitting difficult. She isn't sensitive about it
which is amazing considering how kids usually are when
they feel different. She even painted its toenail a different
shade once to make it more noticeable.

There is a gal in town here who had a son with 2 thumbs on the same hand they had the extra removed. She was big into drugs when he was born so most likely thats where the extra came from.
