We had that type of storm in late 78 or early 79. I was still in high school, and I think Dad had just bought his new 79 Chevy. It could have been in 77, though, 'cause we were using his old 70, 2 wheel drive. The county didn't have anything, for heavy equipment, other then an old #12 Cat grader, with a V plow on it. We were only snow bound a couple days, but there were a lot of trails going out through the pastures, where they couldn't get through with the grader. About a week later, the National Guard was out, with a blower, blowing out where the grader couldn't go.

That being said, I feel for you going through it, right now. In all honesty, I would rather fight the snow you have, then the fires we had last summer.
