Clouded up but nothing more since A'M here found a set of twins so back to even-there's calves camped all over out there that good carryover grass is giving them some shelter-really no place better to move them then where they are-the corrals are pretty soupy.

Weather we're having today you'd think we live in southern Alberta or Nebraska or something like that. :(

Only about an inch of snow stayed on top of the old snow and the mud. I guess the plowed spots were getting to dry.

We have had over 50 cm of snow in our area in April alone. Big , HUGE mess , hard to work in. Getting really tired of this .

Do not wish drought on anyone , hope you all get some moisture soon.

You all are going through what I had to trudge through last year. The kicker was once "spring/summer" arrived, it stayed cold, and the grass could never get a start with all of that wonderful moisture . I hope that doesn't happen in your case.

Now I'm back to drought and lots of wind  . At least the forest permit is getting great moisture. These cows will be going up there as soon as I can go, and there shouldn't be a hoof left on the place except a few horses and bulls... anyway, that's the plan :) .

Good luck, and hang in there!

I'm going on Day 11 of being flooded in by water 7 foot over flood stage (hopefully finally crested today with the 3rd highest flood on record)-- and last night we had a spring snow storm that gave us 4 inches of new wet snow/slop... Temp today didn't get high enough (35 was highest I saw ) to even melt that...

Now forecasting another spring snow storm for tommorrow night and Tuesday- with 4 to 8 more inches of we snow predicted....

Miserable *&%#@*! is my description of this winter....
