Just like their followers flounder and OT, "they lie"

The Democratic National Convention on Wednesday featured three speakers billed as “former employees of companies controlled by Bain Capital.”

They each told compelling stories about jobs lost, allegedly because of the actions of Bain under Romney’s leadership.
But it turns out one of those employees never actually worked for a company controlled by Bain Capital.
David Foster was supposedly one of those former employees on the convention schedule. He told the story about 750 steelworkers who lost their jobs when the Bain-controlled company GST steel filed for bankruptcy in the early 1990s.

“In 2001, with GST bankrupt and Romney still CEO of Bain, I stood in front of hundreds of steelworkers in their 50s and 60s, and retirees in their 70s and 80s, and told them Romney and Bain had broken their promises. Jobs, vacation pay, severance, health insurance and pension benefits that were promised — they were all gone,” he said. Read his full speech here

But Foster, according to a former spokesman for GST Steel, never actually worked for the company.

Maybe tell the truth, now that would surprise me.

The left has damaged themselves so bad that the best way to deal with their words is consider it a lie unless someone fact checks and find they did tell the truth for once.

They don't care if they are caught in a LIE, lets use ot for an example

I am always surprised at their boldness when lying in public like this.
Don't they think someone out there is going to find out they lied????

Problem with this one is they lied at the DNC, now how does the word
get around to those attending, that what was said wasn't totally true? The
libs will hang on to what they heard and fight trying to defend it. I'm
sure THEY never thought to look up any facts, just to keep their party
honest. :?

Bain Capital sends the following statement, following today's Boston Globe article reporting that MItt Romney was CEO there until 2002:

Mitt Romney left Bain Capital in February 1999 to run the Olympics and has had absolutely no involvement with the management or investment activities of the firm or with any of its portfolio companies since the day of his departure. Due to the sudden nature of Mr. Romney's departure, he remained the sole stockholder for a time while formal ownership was being documented and transferred to the group of partners who took over management of the firm in 1999. Accordingly, Mr. Romney was reported in various capacities on SEC filings during this period."

Somebody didn't give their lieing speaker the memo that Romney wasn't at Bain in 2001.

The libs don't care if we know they LIE, after all we aren't going to vote for their lies.
The left doesn't care, they love their liberalism.
The media doesn't care, they are a useful tool to get the lefts lies to the ignorant voter. Those ignorant voters are who they are after. I can not imagine someone not knowing how they were going to vote months ago. These people who only look at election time are the cause of our problems today.
If the military is going to put all they do for this country, the least that Americans can do is pay attention to our government 365 day a year every year.
