Steve Wynn of Wynn resorts rips on obama

Steve Wynn: "You guys on television use the term disingenuous when the president or someone talks about -- says something that's not true. That's a fancy word for lying."

STEVE WYNN: "There's a tremendous prejudice in this administration. Everybody talks about what the government is giving them, but hardly anybody talks about what the government is taking away. And I am telling you, and it's clear in every measurement that you can look at, that the standard of living, the quality of life of the working class of America is being deteriorated in real time because of the falling value of the dollar. The populist rhetoric is very carefully designed to hide the truth. And I find it annoying and disappointing that it's happened that way."

I would love to see a debate between any actual business man and Obama. No debate between politicans. BETWEEN OBAMA AND ANY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN. Let the gloves come off and ask hard hitting economic based questions. I would be willing to bet that is when you would see the true intelligents of Obama come out.

No doubt a businessmman couldn't do much worse than what McCain did. I thought McCain was also a businessman, though.

McCain, a business man?? Please explain?

Why not explain what business experience, or economic experience, obama has ever had while you're at it?

We all knew obama had no executive experience before he was elected. Some chose to overlook it and others didn't.

But we all knew the issues at hand, as obama did. Why did you, TSR vote for an inexperienced person and why do you continue to defend him?

Heck, even Sarah Palin has more economic sense and experience than he does, as stupid as she is.

First I don't think I said who I voted for, I might not have even voted. With respect to McCain, his current wife (he divorced his other while she was disabled, I believe) has an interest in some type of business and as a husband and politician I wouldd think he probably has some input. Of course being one of the wealthier Senators, he had to get his money somehow, the way I look at it. :)

You didn't have to say who you voted for, it was obvious.

Which Sen. or Rep. is not connected to someone that makes money?

obama makes money off of some fictional tale written by Bill Ayers and Biden makes money off of his wife.

How do you decide who to vote for, or do you just follow party lines?

The best chance you have at present is to vote for those that have not been "corrupted" by the system. Teabaggers is what you call them, I think.

what part of the tea party platform don't you agree with?

As an Independent, I vote for the person, not the party. Personally I would like to see Bernie Sanders (I) from VT, I believe, run. We need a strong Independent candidate IMO as I have said numerous times.

Bernie Sanders is not independent. He's a member of the Socialist party. He wants the Government to control everything you do.

If that's what you want, vote for it. But you will be on the losing side of history.

My gosh man, educate yourself. I probably know more about the people in your Government than you do, and I'm Canadian.

Bernard Sanders, known as Bernie, is a senator from Vermont. Mr. Sanders, who describes himself as a socialist, was elected on the Independent line in 2006. He is generally viewed as the most liberal member of the Senate.

Did he run as a Socialist? I guess all those people in Vermont who elected him are Socialists, thats what you get when people go to the polls and have to vote in the same old way-- either Dem. or Rep. I guess.

He's a socialist, he says so, not me. He can run under the donkey party, but is he aa donkey?

Vet your candidates , know what they believe in. And you wonder why you are known as a far left liberal on Ranchers, sheesh.

obama ran as a moderate. Still believe he is?

If you are a socialist or beleive in socialism at least say so, don't hide behind the bush. If socialism is that great at least advocate for it and tell us what we are missing.

Can you defend and debate the advantages of socialism?

edited to add: It is rarely a conservative that calls others names to shut down conversation when discussing socialism, but socialists often call names, why is that?

If your argument is solid, then discuss it intelligently and constructively.

We're all positive you aren't a far left liberal. Just a conservative that has shown his intentions to vote for a socialist.

Where did you ever get the idea that we thought you were a far left liberal or progressive.

It's obviously us, not you. Sorry we misjudged!

SO in your mind if Mrs. McCain has interest in a business, Mr. McCain automatically becomes a business man involved in that business? :?

If you were a loan officer at a bank does that mean your wife has a right to OK loans too?

If you are a Docter does that mean your wife can write prescriptions?

If you are a Lawyer does that mean your wife can go to court and represent a criminal?

If you are a building contractor does that mean your wife can walk into your office and tell your employees what to do?

Now please inform us of Michelle Obama's business interest that somehow makes Barak a businessman worthy of running the US?

after the recent news.. that is not really a good example.

The Real Housewives of Wall Street

Why is the Federal Reserve forking over $220 million in bailout money to the wives of two Morgan Stanley bigwigs?

Well yes I do have some say in the ranch but just because I take an interest in the ranch where I live, eat and breath on a daily bases does not mean all wives/husbands take the same interest in their spouses businesses. Some couples do have separate business interests.

Now again what BUSINESS is Michelle into that gives Barak the business experience enough to be the President of the US? As I doubt he has ever even run a lemonade stand.

His idea of a lemonade stand would be to confiscate 5 cents from everybody on the street so he could bailout the lemon grower.

the lemonade stand owner would end up owing 10 cents per resident on the street.

The U.S. government plans to sell its General Motors stake this summer, according to The Wall Street Journal, which is placing the rescue of GM and Chrysler back on the front griddle

In all likelihood, the government (that means taxpayers like you and me) will lose money on the deal. According to the Journal, the Treasury would need to sell its remaining stake of 500 million shares at about $53 each to breakeven.

Today, GM’s shares are down 1.3% to $29.58, some ways from $53.
