The cattle seem to be settling in good today to their new pasture. It's supposed to rain towards mid-week with cold and fog again.

Moving them helps to bring them into heat. I'm over a week late moving, and so it will be interesting to see how they calve out next spring.

This was a campfire ring where my boss' family would brew coffee after haying. The ranch has been in his family close to 130 years.

Watch out Nebraska, someone is going to get dumped on :shock: . Watching thunderheads form is definately a summer highlight up here in the high country :D .

Nice pictures, Wyoming Rancher. I would probably even keep for replacements the heifers that you don't like. :wink:

Great pics and great cattle. Those bright green poplars sure look outta place against the spruce and pines don't they? Makes for nice photos.
