The cattle seem to be settling in good today to their new pasture. It's supposed to rain towards mid-week with cold and fog again.
Relaxing
They seem content.
Moving them helps to bring them into heat. I'm over a week late moving, and so it will be interesting to see how they calve out next spring.
A good feedlot heifer prospect.
A good replacement heifer prospect  .
Another possible "keeper"
.
The larger heifer in the rocks is another good heifer, but she's not staying... her mother was the bad bagged cow I posted on Doug's thread... #921  .
This was a campfire ring where my boss' family would brew coffee after haying. The ranch has been in his family close to 130 years.
Watch out Nebraska, someone is going to get dumped on  . Watching thunderheads form is definately a summer highlight up here in the high country
