This excellent report from Reason TV on the Gibson Guitar raid by DHS and the Fish and Wildlife Department explains a lot about the bureaucratic overreach involved.

'They...come in with weapons, they seized a half-million dollars worth of property, they shut our factory down, and they have not charged us with anything,' says Gibson Guitars CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, referring to the August 2011 raid on his Nashville.

I bet they didn't pay the feds their fee money to leave them alone and create jobs. Ask Tam, I bet she can tell you why. If they were raided with big scary guns, she knows they did something wrong. Just give them time to pour through the private property to figure out what.

I truly have very little doubt that they will "claim" something sinister. Maybe the company donated to an organization outside of the organizations designated for free speech?

People need to stop relying on something as old as the Constitution to understand their rights and keep up with the times and all the new infringements.

Nothing to see here folks, move along. Look! Free stuff!
