Dow, S&P 500 end at record highs

Results late Friday from Berkshire Hathaway showed profit from the BNSF railroad rose about 5 percent. Berkshire's Class B shares added 1 percent to $145.05.

The Bakken will shut down all pumping if prices go below $72 a barrel and no new holes will be drilled.

I tried to tell OT that an oil boom can go away faster than it came. He didn't understand..................

I think this oil glut is artificial, like when the Saudies closed marginal US wells with $10 crude in the 90s.

We do some work for Enron that is postponed because of these oil prices, but the established wells are going strong. That said, they'll lock down the Bakken well before they get to the eagle ford.

Imagine this economy without all the oil production, all the new rail cars, all the new dodge diesels and so on.
