Looks like the storms tonight could come close enough to give us a shower
We did get about 2/10 today
enough to settle the dust
Was nice to see any moisture at all
Heck My grandmother (91 years old) called me on the cell just to tell me it was raining, even she was excited
Its amazing how the weather can set the moods of people

Have to remember there is always hope
:) :) :)

Haymaker- Glad to hear you are getting some of that moisture finally- Funny what a little rain can do to change the countryside and attitudes...

Gabe and I were going to head north early today to do some fencing- but when I got up it was raining- got about 1/10 so far here on the river, but it is raining harder up north, so now need to come up with Plan B for the day....

May have to just sit here drink coffee and pick on Canucks for awhile   Have to go to town and vote this afternoon- school elections........

I had 4 tenths, and thunder and lightning, about 3 this AM.

Looks like a nice lawn across the prairie. Believe it or not, we still have snow drifts in the deep draws lingering on from our 2 weeks ago blizzard.

My dad called today and he says it's been raining for better part of a week with the temps at night in the mid-30's....making it hard for the farmers to get their crops going when their machinery is getting mud-bogged!! He is in Tioga, North Dakota----way upper NW corner!!
