This nice couple taught in Merriman back in the late 1960's. He was the band and chorus teacher, and is mentioned in my 1968 journal.
Longtime friends and part-time neighbors. He was the pastor who officiated when Peach and I tied the knot back in 1979. Our wedding
was an 8 a.m. affair at their ranch on the Niobrara River, in a natural amphitheater. A piano was hauled to the location, and she
played the "Music Box Dancer" for our grand exit.
My dad and his bride
These folks lived in this area in years past, and he is now a Methodist minister in central Nebraska.
