Nice dog Kat. Is his name "Sunflower"?

What would be a good crop of sunflowers per acre? Bushels, tons, or however you figure it.

What I'm getting at is.....how many tractor hours/miles per gallon per acre do you get on them thar sunflower seed?

Bet Roscoe's got it figured out.

Good looking sunflowers spaced far apart and no weeds! Any trouble with them blowing over?
Ahhh, that's a intent dog, too. Just want to rub him under his soft chinny chin chin!

Mike, We would be really happy with anywhere from 2600 pd to 3000pds per acre... Yes Roscoe would know about the gallons per acre... He amazes me with his brillants.

nr, I will tell Roscoe that you thought his sunflower field looked good with no weeds. You will make his day.... There is no roundup ready sunflowers so he culivated them with a tractor and go devil... And yes they do blow over.... With being so dry this spring he planted them pretty thin so they would grow. The more per row you plant the smaller the sunflower heads will be..
If you havn't figured it out... Ameego goes everywhere with me... Even room to room....
