These lil flowers are all over our pasture right now. I've never noticed them before??? in previous years. But they are awful pretty, even if they are awfully small...only about 1/2 inch across the flower part. Not very tall either.

Very neat photos, Lilly. I am sure glad you got a new camera!!!

I love those lizards, or are they something else? We sure don't have lizards here...not even a horny toad/horned frog, that I've seen. My folks have all kinds of lizards on their winter range in NW New Mexico. Their Border Collie, Rocky, is challenged daily when it starts to warm up. He hasn't learned lizards don't herd well! Your lizards are a ton more colorful than theirs too...I guess more fitting to the surroundings-lush southern TX or dry, arid NW New Mexico.

Thanks for sharing! Have a grand ol' day.

Cheers---

Hope you don't mind Lilly, but I'm using your flower picture as my desktop background. Beats looking at all the snow out my window  Thanks!

TTB, we call em "money lizards" because when they are doin whatever they do to show it off.....they have a copper/reddish round part that comes out under their neck that pops out about the size of a penny. I hope I can catch one doin that it's really cool. The kids usta catch these and walk around letting them hang off their ears. (yes biting them) They will clamp down and it's kinda hard to get em to let go.

Both of these lizards are the same kind, they do change colors. It really surprized me that niether one were brown lookin, the one on the pipe is kinda changin to a rusty color, but he left too soon to finish. They didnt stay long enough to change colors after I took the pictures, guess I scared them. Plus I had to open the gate to go thru LOL

Those little lizards live in my palm trees. When I bring the trees in to the sun room every fall...I spend about 3-4 days chasing lizards around catching them up.

I take them downstairs to where the other plants winter over and they seem to make it just fine. I guess they're able to catch the random spider and get their water from the trays the plants set on.

They've all been moved back outside now and the porches are crawlin' with them.

They're courting BIG TIME and flashing those pink-ish throat webs .
