Folks, this is so fresh the ink's still wet!

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—By a five-to-four decision, the United States Supreme Court today defended the right of the wealthiest Americans to own the United States government.

Writing for the majority, Chief Justice John Roberts summarized the rationale behind the Court’s decision: “In recent years, this Court has done its level best to remove any barriers preventing the wealthiest in our nation from owning our government outright. And while the few barriers that remained were flimsy at best, it was high time that they be shredded as well.”

Citing the United States Constitution, Justice Roberts wrote, “Our founding fathers created the most magnificent democracy in human history. Now, thanks to this decision, the dream of owning that democracy is a reality.”

Justice Antonin Scalia also weighed in, telling reporters at the Court, “After all the pro-gay decisions we’ve been making around here lately, it was nice to finally have a win for the good guys.”

Wow another SCOTUS ruling the Dems will hate right up until they take advantage of it.

Obama hated Citizen's United and Super Pacs right up until half his White House staff quits their jobs to organize his Super Pac then while b*tching about the Republican's Super Pacs he does fund raising for his.

While Obama b*tches about Citizen Untied ruling opening up US elections to foreign influence through foreign donations A Leftwing Super Pac gets caught taking money from illegal FELONS and has to return it.

While Obama b*tches about Republican Super Pacs buying ad time to campaign against him, his is producing Hit pieces against Romney linking him to killing a woman which was not true.

This is just another example of watch the right hand while the left hand does exact what the right hand is b*tching about.

why is it that Liberals/Progressives/Democrats are so worried about others' advertising what they are doing?

Are they not proud of what they are accomplishing?

from another forum...

There is nothing in the Constitution that doesn't scare the poop out of libs, but they seem to be particularly terrified of the Bill of Rights. People exercising their first amendment rights, like paying for political advertisements, scares 'em pretty bad, but if you really want to make a lib wet his pants and run away just ask him about the 10th Amendment.

Independent Thinkers,   right Oldtimer I love how you both, as "Montana Independent thinkers" defend everything your hero Obama does by blaming Bush, the man has been gone from office for over 5 years and you are still blaming the economy on him as if Obama's skyrocketing national debt and yet another expensive ENTITLEMENT Program has nothing to do with the cratering US economy. YEP real independent thinking there you leftwingnut cultist you.

Face it you like the way Pee Wee thinks as he is as stupid as you are, I doubt you will find two posters that are more alike than you two. If one post Borotwit's crap the other posts it, if one bashes Bush the other one does and if one says the Canadian Healthcare is great and FREE well it must be so as the other repeats it OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

BTW Oldtimer it is crap like your dangerous phase post here that is a perfect example of why you are seen as a HYPOCRITE as just how many times have you defended Obama's Corruption by claiming WELL THEY ALL DO IT.

Afghans Offer to Export Democracy to U.S.

KABUL - Afghanistan, holding national elections marked by high voter enthusiasm and record turnout, today offered to export its system of democracy to the United States. "The American people deserve to savor the fruits of freedom that only a true democracy can offer," said a senior Afghan official, adding that Afghans would offer the U.S. "meaningful support in its effort to transition to a democratic system." American officials were initially cool to the offer, noting that the Afghan vote took place without key elements crucial to American elections, such as billions of dollars in negative advertising. Said one U.S. official, "It was a nice offer, but it's unlikely that their system of government would work in the U.S."
