Communist Paper Supports Obama
Amanda Carpenter
Wednesday, August 13, 2008

A Communist newspaper is supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for president, praising his ability to “unite the working class” and eviscerate racism.

People’s Weekly World/Neustro Mundo made their announcement in an editorial titled “Eye on the Prize.” The piece argues, while Obama “is not a left candidate,” he is the best candidate towards advance the kind of “progressive change” the Communist Party seeks.

The editors of PWW/NM declared: “If Obama’s candidacy represented nothing more than the spark for this profound initiative to unite the working class and defeat the pernicious influence of racism, it would be a transformative candidacy that would advance progressive politics for the long term.”

The editorial was originally published on July 15 and reprinted online at the Communist Party USA’s website.

PWW/NM is a direct descendent of the Daily Worker, a paper published by Communist Party USA.

No wonder the Commies aren't running a candidate this year. They don't need one - they've got Obama. :???:

==============================================

Communist Party of the USA endorses Obama.

Remember the Ronald Reagan quote, "How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin."

This quote fits perfectly Senator Barack Obama. "How do you tell a Barack Obama supporter? Well, it's someone who listens to Barack Obama. And how do you tell someone who is anti-Obama? It's someone who understands what Barack Obama is saying."

We learn today from Redstate blog that the Communist Party of the United States endorsed Barack Obama for President. According to Redstate:

It's one thing when Obama, the Democrats' standard bearer to be, is identified as the most liberal senator. It is something else, something quite extreme, when Obama is recognized as the darling of the Communist Party USA.

That's right, Joelle Fishman -- chair of the Communist Party USA Political Action Commission and the Connecticut Communist Party -- backs Obama...

Yep- more negative politics- because McSame and the current Party have nothing positive to run on....

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum told LancasterOnline.com that McCain cannot anger conservatives, as choosing a pro-choice running mate would do.

“Obama’s got to lose,” Santorum said. “It doesn’t matter. I’m a believer that John McCain can’t win the race, but that Obama has to lose it. This is not a knock on McCain. I don’t know of any Republican candidate who can overcome the Democrats in this environment without the Democrat disqualifying himself.

“But McCain has to remain an acceptable alternative if voters do disqualify Obama,: Santorum continued. "So his VP choice has to be safe — somebody who can’t disqualify McCain. At the same time, he can’t tick off conservatives. The answer — long story short — he’s got to pick a safe, conservative Republican. There are probably ten members of the U.S. Senate, and some governors, who are conservative, who have solid records, who are good people, who would not stir controversy.”

OT you should reread what you type and then try to comprehend what you typed, it's hilarious.

Folks that have the ability to comprehend don't seem to have any problem--but this wouldn't be the first that flys over your head.... :(

I have a hard time seeing "Comrade of color" as a positive message...
