I'm not surprised,we're almost at the end of flu season. By the time it resurfaces in the fall the shot will be available..for those who believe in taking it,otherwise playin Russian roulette with thier lives and the ones they love will be a personal choice

Talk about a sky is falling attitude, the reaction to the any new strain of flu is just that.
A couple of years ago it was bird flu, this year it is Swine flu. Both were claimed to be the next "PANDEMIC"
Lets see human deaths due to bird flu world wide from 2003 to 2009 were reported by the WHO as to be 257 in 421 cases. With swine flu so far it have been 19 reported deaths in Mexico and one in the US, for a total of 20 in 658 cases worldwide, Mexico is already reporting fewer new cases.

And how many died from the plain old flu last year? 35,000 according to CDC reports

Just wonder here, if a person is risking their life by not getting a flu shot, is a docter that refuses to give you one when you request a shot risking your life? If a person was refused a flu shot and that person was to die of the flu could the family sue the health care provider for the death of their loved one? Should the person get it in writing when they are refused a flu shot by a docter due to age or availability so if something happens the family has record of the reason for the refusal? :?
