The pacifist is as surely a traitor to his country and to humanity as is the most brutal wrongdoer.

Theodore Roosevelt

Merriam Webster Dictionary:
Definition of PACIFIST

1: of, relating to, or characteristic of pacifism or pacifists

2: strongly and actively opposed to conflict and especially war

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

~Hermann Goering quote

Another warmonger made it quite clear of how you can always bring the people around to supporting war..

And while I don't consider myself a pacifist, I disagree with both Teddy and Cheney who think we should be the policemen of the world... I believe there is a time for war- but that definitely wasn't with our invasion of Iraq.. And that if wars are going to be fought they should be fought to win....

After being given a snow job- and losing wars (Viet Nam, Iraq, and probably Afghanistan) - the people of this country are not going to be as quickly snowed by the actions of the Goering's of our government...Now we have several generations that say to D.C. " fool me once shame on you, even fool me twice shame on you, fool me three times shame on me...
Folks are sick of being fooled by the government warmongers that lie to get wars started- and then set home comfy in their homes while they send our youth off to be cannon fodder in wars they won't let them win...

Iraq was not a war lost. Bush's vision was the same as Clinton's...........

Simply to make a regime change in Iraq. It worked. Saddam is gone.

Are you as stupid as you seem?

OT would rather the terrorists are left alone, so they can gain in numbers and strength, so as to do even more damage to the west, at a later date.

He doesn't believe they should be kept weakened. He still doesn't realize that Iraq and Afghanistan were only battles, within a war...

While you don't consider yourself a "Pacifist", others DO consider you one from the words and thoughts you write.

How's it feel to be a Traitor?

Or just jealous of everybody and everything? Oh, wait...he already is. That, and a greedy, money-grubbing, doddering old fool, among other things.
