Take away from Tillerson's hearing

One of the questioners was talking about Climate change caused by fossil fuel and how studies confirm link. When Tillerson said research not conclusive to his comments,it didn't go over well.

Why would anyone expect the majority of the studies out to say anything but fossil fuel and humans are causing global warming?

There was a Professor on Tucker Carlson the other night that said she was quitting her job at a University because when she questioned the science, she felt she was walking around with a knife in your back.

These Universities are the ones that are collecting Millions of dollars to do studies. If you want HUGE government money grants you better not tell them that Global Warming/Climate Change is not Human caused.

The elected officials like the one questioning Tillerson, think they have the answers and they are just funding those studied that back up their "ANSWER" They don't care about the truth they are just looking for "STUDIES" they can use to re-enforce their liberal reason for spending billions to regulate people.

If any of these so called Global Warming Climate Changing Hollyweirds and elected officials, cared about "GLOBAL WARMING" they would sell their private jets and fly JetBlue like Ivanka Trump and her family did. But nope they fly around leaving their stinking little footprint while telling us to stop driving are much needed 4x4 trucks. :roll:

Maybe, just maybe, THE CLIMATE WILL CHANGE......in Washington. Wouldn't that be something?

I wondered how Tillerson could sit that long and keep his mind on the endless questions. The questions took so long to get
to the point I got lost at times. I wasn't very proud of Marco Rubio; what I watched he acted like the enemy.

Rubio acted like and idiot looking to tie Tillerson's hands before he gets confirmed. He actually wanted Tillerson to call Putin a War Criminal and if he had just how much respect does anyone think Putin would have had for Tillerson when he had to negotiate a deal with Russia.

I don't understand these idiots in Congress and the WH have they forgotten about the supply flights to the International Space Station THAT RUSSIA provide.

Russia is to deny the US future use of the International Space Station beyond 2020 and will also bar its rocket engines from launching US military satellites as it hits back at American sanctions imposed over Ukraine crisis.
Russia’s deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin announced a series of punitive measures on Tuesday against the US in response to sanctions imposed after Russia annexed Crimea.
The two countries have long cooperated closely on space exploration despite their clashes in foreign policy.
The Space Station is manned by both American and Russian crew, but the only way to reach it is by using Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft.
The US is keen to keep the $100 billion (£600) ISS flying until at least 2024, four years beyond its original target.

Unless smog ridden China cleans up, all our efforts would be pointless. But liberals still think we are the problem..
China's smog-filled cities are ringed with heavy industry, metal smelters, and coal-fired power plants, all critical to keeping the fast-growing economy going even as they spew tons of carbon, metals, gases, and soot into the air. The air pollution and smog in Beijing and Shanghai are sometimes so bad that the airports are shut down because of poor visibility. Sometimes you can't even see building a few blocks away and blue sky is a rare sight. In Shanghai sometimes you can't see the street from the 5th floor window.

Even in remote areas air pollution levels can be alarmingly high. On the nice new highway between Urumqi and Turpan in Xinjiang it's sometimes difficult to make out the wonderful scenery because brownish smoke produced by natural gas refineries and coal plants.

China's current economic policies would result in an enormous surge in coal consumption and automobile sales over the next decade. “China's air pollution will become a lot worse from the already unbearable level," the analysts said, calling for drastic policy changes and “a strong government will to overcome the opposition from interest groups." The report estimated that the number of passenger cars in China was on track to hit 400 million by 2030, up from 90 million now.

yep,.. real smart to ignore a real problem to fight an imaginary one.. but liberals can't tackle real issues can they?

One of the problems I had was the idiot questioner was asking Tillerson if he would admit Climate Change is a national security risk

Please explain to me why they think the nation is at risk from Climate Change to the point they need to spend billion on to protect it, from a .05 degree rise in temp in 100 year. They are protecting it from Climate Change while China is pouring more than North America have ever and will ever pour out in 50 years, in a year.

They are allowing themselves to be distracted by this bogus crap while foreign countries are hacking every facet of the US economy and Government. Why don't they look at the REAL risk to nation, CYBER SECURITY. They have been repeatedly hacked and millions of people's personal info stole but they did nothing until the DNC was hacked and emails leaked to prove just how corrupt they are.That was the straw that broke the camels back and now we see millions spent on hearing to get to the bottom of THAT HACK not the one that stole the millions of GOVERNMENT records nope the hack that stole a POLITICAL PARTY'S SECRETS. :mad:

Policies adapted from domestic regulations emphasized in the Paris agreement will affect a variety of aspects of the American economy. As a result of the plan, one can expect that by 2035, there will be:

An overall average shortfall of nearly 400,000 jobs;
An average manufacturing shortfall of over 200,000 jobs;
A total income loss of more than $20,000 for a family of four;
An aggregate gross domestic product (GDP) loss of over $2.5 trillion; and
Increases in household electricity expenditures between 13 percent and 20 percent.

imagine if all of the left's idiotic ideas went through?

Let us all pray that it is not to late for Trump and his Cabinet to stop everything Obama agreed to that is just another Liberal way to destroy the World economy with job killing regulations. Why does any one seriously think a bunch of corrupt career politicians that Hillary would have nominated to her cabinet would be better for the country's economy than a cabinet full of Successful businessmen.
