Obama, in his second book, “The Audacity of Hope,” clearly states that, like his father, he is also no great fan of the American system of free enterprise capitalism; he describes capitalism as “chaotic and unforgiving,” and has a desire to roll back the “ownership society.”

Tammy- he will put your son back to work....I heard today where part of the money to be spent in Montana is on completing the Dry Prairie water system your son was working on...

I doubt my son is relying on Obama to put him to work since he has been working here in Canada for over two years. I just hope Obama doesn't put our future Son In Law that works in the US oil patch out of work with his crap.

Some reason I could not keep my eyes off of Pelosi and her Sh*t eating grins. She could barely contain herself back there. She had an arrogance and smirk about her.

That is the same thing almost everyone else seemed to notice.

This money will be paid back with interest added on too. They're spending like there is no tomorrow

Since the whole thing made us ill, we started guessing what Pelosi was thinking as she sat there with that smirk plastered all over her face.

Things like, "if I could get rid of these two clowns, I'd be standing up
there doing all the talking instead of sitting in this chair."  :p

I think she had to keep jumping up to keep from fallling asleep. She
covered a yawn once...

And 'nobody messes with Joe' Biden, almost didn't stand a few times.
Wonder what he was thinking about?

Anyway, of course, the Dow was down again today, and went down further
when zer0 spoke again today about regulation Wall Street. One commentator said he acted like Wall Street was out to get him so he was gonna 'get them first.' And another mentioned the fact that everytime he speaks the Dow drops. I really don't think he cares. He has to keep his popularity going so he can push stuff through. His big hurry is that eventually he is going to be fournd out and his time to do these horrible things to the country will be over.

I listened to Ron Paul on Glenn Beck yesterday and today on a financial hearing and he said, "WE CAN'T RE-INFLATE THE BALLOON." And he talked about there being a difference between credit and capital. What this admistration is going to do is not going to solve anything, only prolong it and cost every American for generations, lots of money.

Ron Paul is a real CHAMPION. Not afraid to speak up.

Heard about this today too:

Did you notice Pelosi when Obama mentioned passing a bill with no earmarks. :disagree: All smiles like Gee he didn't read it either.

And Biden sitting back there rubbing his nose checking to see if it was growing while his master lied. :liar:

All three made me so sick.

And that show after with Obama walking through the crowd of SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES kissing shaking hands and signing autographs like some kind of rock star. GAG ME WITH A SPOON

Well if you lived around here- its been on the radio every day...Because the Dry Prairie project for people that have hauled drinking water for years is a major thing...Also the St. Mary canal rebuild for providing irrigation water-especially since some of the reservation money goes toward developing a new irrigation project for them....

That site only lists 4 mayoral projects- that if you look at the figures don't come close to the TOTAL...And none of these include the reservation projects (Montana has 7)- and I'm not sure if any, some, or all of the Dry Prairie comes from the reservation project as it encompass's a reservation also...

Projects in Montana
Below are the "shovel-ready" projects the mayors of this state submitted in the 2008 U.S. Conference of Mayors report. You can click on a project to read (and add to) its description. You can also discuss the project and vote on whether you believe it is critical or not. For a more local view, you can drill down to projects in a particular city. Just choose a city from the following list.

The total of cost of all the projects submitted by Montana is $249,272,000

View a specific city in Montana: Bozeman • Darby • Missoula • Shelby

Exact funding levels will probably change, but according to Montana's Senate delegation, the Senate's current federal stimulus bill includes the following funding for Montana:

Montana Stabilization Fund (assists states and local governments for education, public safety and other needs): $196,532,000

Montana highway funding: $168,286,449

Montana transit formula funding: $19,956,041

Tam, I laughed at your post.

Except I think he thinks he is more
than a rock star, I truly think Obama believes he is some sort of GOD.
And some of America believe this as well.

Truly scary.

Tam- I was wrong..The Dry Prairie is not in the Stimulus package but the Omnibus Spending Bill....I guess I should read Rehbergs e-mails more often- but after he sold out many years work by Montana Agriculture groups for Lobbyiest $ from a pro Cuban embargo lobbyiest group- I haven't thought much of the fellow...

What is really funny- is in looking at the e-mails/press releases Rehberg made is that he put out several press releases bragging to the home folks how much he'd gotten them in the Omnibus Bill-and taking credit for taking care of the home projects-- then voted AGAINST the bill...
What a JOKE!!!!!

Rehberg Secures Funding for Montana Water Projects

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Montana’s Congressman, Denny Rehberg, today secured $17.5 million in funding for Montana water projects in the 2009 Omnibus Appropriations bill.

“As a member of the Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, I’m in a great position to fund water projects that are vital to Montana’s communities,” said Rehberg. “These funds are another important step toward clean drinking water for all Montanans.”

Montana Water Projects included in the Omnibus:

$10 million for Fort Peck / Dry Prairie Water System in Northeastern Montana. Funds will be used to construct critical elements of the water system including the Water Treatment Plant and core pipelines. The new system will supply clean water to 30,000 residents of Northeast Montana and the Fort Peck Reservation.

$7 million for the Rocky Boy’s/North Central Montana Regional Water System. Funds will continue the construction of the core intake, water treatment plant and pipelines that will provide a reliable water supply for drinking water. Ultimately, the project will deliver water to roughly 30,000 Montanans.

$500,000 for the St. Mary Rehabilitation Project. Funds are for the first phase of a multi-year effort to rehabilitate the St. Mary Diversion Facilities and address associated environmental impacts on the Blackfeet Reservation. The St. Mary Diversion Facilities import water from the St. Mary River Basin to the Milk River Basin in north-central Montana serving the drinking water needs for 15,000 in municipalities and 140,000 irrigated acres.
