Why does nobody want to work for this Obama crook?

She’s a mostly anonymous career bureaucrat, but Mary Baker has been a major player in some the most damaging stories to hit the Obama administration.
Sources familiar with the vetting process of the Senate Finance Committee say that Baker, an Internal Revenue Service employee on loan to the committee as a “tax professional,” has been a — and maybe the — driving force behind its examination of tax problems involving three Obama nominees.
Timothy Geithner’s nomination as treasury secretary was approved despite the revelation that he only recently rectified a number of tax problems, including paying overdue Social Security and Medicare taxes.
Tom Daschle withdrew as the nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services as the committee prepared to release a damaging report about his failure to pay taxes on a car and driver.
And while Ron Kirk is likely to be confirmed as the U.S. trade representative, the Finance Committee has exposed tax problems in his background.
Before the Obama administration is filled out, Baker and her crew will review the finances of another 42 nominees, including 17 top officials at the Treasury Department, which is seriously understaffed at the highest levels.
