It took all of several hours for the accusations to to start. :x . George Stephanopoulos and Brian Ross on the Morning Show were already trying to link the young mad man to the Colo. Tea Party.

Shameful media malpractice: ABC's Brian Ross links Aurora theater shooter to Tea Party; Update: ABC admits no connection between shooter and Tea Party
Well, that didn't take long.

In a grossly irresponsible segment on ABC's "Good Morning America," Brian Ross told George Stephanopoulos that Colorado movie theater shooting suspect James Holmes may have joined the Tea Party last year.

It also didn't take long for the Gun Control speeches to start. Control Freak Bloomberg has already demanded to know where the Presidentual Candidates stand on Gun Control. Before he is done there will be no freedoms left in the US. First salt and large sodas next total ban on guns in the "HIS" city, if not the whole US. :x

someday the liberals will realize laws and rules and signs seldom solve any problems...

teaching personal responsibility and accountability will at least make the same problems less prevalent..

This is why religion is important to a democracy.
Even if you don't follow any religion or don't even believe in God, the values and guidelines that religion imposes is important in society.

Laws and government does not solve these problems, and prison does nothing to rectify the situation, only a following of good moral values and a belief in each individuals rights to be treated justly and these things taught in a family situation will solve the problem.

Better yet, all of the gun control laws in effect failed to stop this from happening. The question is, how do we protect ourselves from insane people who are bent on committing these violent acts? Even in countries that have confinscated small arms from their people have these mass murder attempts. Proof positive that gun control doesn't work and may even be encouraging wackos to carry out such henious acts. What did he have to fear, who brings their concealed weapon to a movie theater?

Excellent comment, Martin Jr.

Years ago a minister made this statement at the church we attended then - "If the Gospel doesn't convert a man, it should at least civilize him."

And it appears that the Gospel needs to find new and greater expression in the lives of both the people and governments of our lands or we are only headed into more and worse incidents of this nature.

This is a personal challenge with immense implications.
