Ted Turner visits Omaha to rename restaurant and promote bison
Ted Turner is in Omaha to promote the new name of his Ted's Montana Grill.
The restaurant, which features bison meat, is now called Ted's Nebraska Grill. It is the only one of the 54 restaurants in the chain that is not called Ted's Montana Grill.

The Omaha restaurant will feature beef and bison that were raised in Nebraska, and whenever possible the restaurant will use other items produced in Nebraska.

Omaha Steaks will provide beef for the restaurant. And some of the bison meat will come from Turner's own herd raised on his five Nebraska ranches.

The restaurant also reflects Turner's environmental concerns by using biodegradable hand soap, compact fluorescent light bulbs, to-go cups made from corn starch and other measures.

I don't know the man, but I don't care for his politics. I'll probably never make it somewhere that one a his restraunts are, but if I do, i'll be eating at some place else. Just my opinion though and who care's what I think? :???:
I read this quote from Mr. Turner in the latest issue of RANGE magazine:
"After complimenting Germany for being 'way ahead of us' on global warming and for being 'as smart as whips' because it has no troops in Iraq, Ted Turner quipped that christians are at a disadvantage in fighting muslims because muslims are promised "lots of sex" after death while christians are only promised "lots of hymns" in heaven. "The risk- reward thing is skewed the wrong way." (Ted Turner, during interview by GQ magazine's Wil Hylton, quoted on the magazines blog, Sept. 20, 2007)
