In a breaking development, the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Angela Corey has fired the IT specialist who blew the whistle on the prosecution’s concealment of evidence:

State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

On the same day attorneys finished their closing arguments in that nationally watched trial, a state attorney investigator went to Ben Kruidbos’ home about 7:30 a.m. to hand-deliver a letter stating Kruidbos “can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.”

Florida State Attorney Angela Corey Fires IT Director Ben Kruidbos After Testimony In George Zimmerman Trial

“Your egregious lack of regard for the sensitive nature of the information handled by this office is completely abhorrent. “You have proven to be completely untrustworthy. Because of your deliberate, wilful and unscrupulous actions, you can never again be trusted to step foot in this office.”

In January, Kruidbos used computer software technology to extract photographs and text messages from the source file in Martin’s cellphone. Kruidbos was able to recover more information than the Florida Department of Law Enforcement obtained previously.

Kruidbos said he became concerned that lead prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda might not have turned over Kruidbos’ report to defense attorneys. Kruidbos asked White in April for legal advice and described some contents of his report such as a photo of an African-American hand holding a gun, a photo of a plant resembling marijuana, and a text message referring to a gun transaction.

Before Kruidbos’ name surfaced in the Martin trial proceedings, he received a pay raise for “meritorious performance,” according to a document dated May 16 in his personnel file.

well it looks like honesty and hard work doesn't pay anymore in this country... and that is sad...

Angela Corey's entire office should be investigated by someone. The FBI is not the one to do it though, because of their shenanigans in several areas of law enforcement.

Too bad Buckwheat has brought the whole justice system to it's knees.

What do you expect when the DOJ and President are putting pressure on Florida to press charges that should never be filed as the law of stand your ground and self defense are in play? The case was weak and the State had to hold out some of the damning info about the agressor to have even a slight chance with the jury.

Wow they just played a part of the Prosecutors remarks where he said Think about what your decision would be if Trayvon had shot Zimmerman under these same conditions and remember that when deciding this.

I can tell you right now that those jury members would have never been called as the Police would have looked at the evidence, decided it was self defense like they did in this case and the RACE BAITERS including the DOJ and Obama would have sat back and said NOTHING to incite violence and force the law to press charges on an innocent guy protecting his life from an attack. :x

He also said this was not a case of Stand your ground it was a case of STAY IN YOUR CAR. You might also say it was a case of GO HOME and don't turn around and attack a guy with a gun. 4 minute for a 30 second walk and he didn't GO HOME. WHY?

He also said this was not a case of Stand your ground it was a case of STAY IN YOUR CAR.

it is sad that as citizens and residents we can't walk around without risking getting our heads bashed in....

even sadder when law enforcement tells Us we can't defend our selves.. and our only option is to stay in our car and "watch" as our neighborhood is taken over by burglars and thugs...

both of which Trayvon was...
