Thanksgiving

In light of the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to share how God has blessed me this last year. Just a couple of real quick things :

He blessed us with a new baby which has brought a lot of new fun and laughter to our house.

I also am reminded how he has withheld what I deserved.
Psalm 103 v 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

I am indeed blessed and thankful for what God has done for me this past year.

Does anyone else care to share what they are thankful for?

I am thankful for each morning I wake up to a wide view of pure natural beauty, not inhibited by so called progress of urban sprawl.

a wife and 4 kids who are patient enough to let me stay around.

and I am truly thankful for all those who are risking thier lives, spending the holidays away from home, so we may live the lives we love.

isn't it amazing how one learns to be grateful for the "little things" when they see folks who seem to have NOTHING!! I am grateful for simply having a roof over my head, a car that runs (sometimes), the ability to wipe my own nose (among other things), a job that (most times) puts food on the table, my health, my hubby's health, 4 amazing kids, the ability to walk and talk (usually at the same time), a wonderful sister and 2 adorable nephews, food in my gut, the ability to see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, the dear Lord above and all he has blessed me and my family with!! I am also grateful for all the wonderful folk I have gotten to know right here on Ranchers!! I have to work on Thanksgiving, but I will take the time now to send you all my very best for a simply wonderful Thanksgiving!!! May God shine on each and everyone of you and your families!!! :D :D

Everyday, I thank the Lord for all he has placed before me. So I guess I'm thankful for everything.

Life is a grand adventure and I want to look back on it and remember it all, good and bad. I know I can handle it all if I just let God be the one in control of my life.

When something happens that I don't particularly like or something I really like, either way, I thank the Lord for giving me this life. I just try and do the best I can with what He gave me. And He gave it ALL to me.

That was very well said Jinglebob!! I have to agree. I'm thankful first of all for the Lord and all He has given me. I'm thankful to live in this great country, and for those fighting for it. I'm very thankful to be a rancher, and to live where/how I do. I'm thankful for finding a whole bunch of friends/family here who feel (mostly  ) as I do!!

I am thankful for our dear Lord.. The true and only one. I am thankful for christ giving me a second chance everyday. For I know I am not worthy of his forgiveness... Thankful for every new day I am given. My wonderful husband, and sons.. For them loving me for the way I am.. My friends who I would do anything for.. Knowing they would do the same for me.. Being thankful for having the best of both worlds country and town... And I am thankful for my ranchernet friends who have helped me grow in a positive way.. The laughter, good natured teasing, jokes and plain old silliness that makes me smile for weeks at a time.........

All the above mentioned.......yeap the Good Lord is responsible. We all hafta thank him for everything we have.

This has been a really good year for us. Family, friends, the ranch...(even tho we needed more rain) it's all ok, because he's provided us with the ability to deal with the things that come up. We were just talkin about this yesterday, even tho it was a tuff year, rain wise, everything has worked out just fine. Yes we had to sell some, but he's lookin out for us...
Keep a positive attitude and put everything in His hands...He won't steer (stear)....??? ...ya wrong LOL
