The B grade that haunts Obama

When Obama invited his old college professor to the Oval Office, he might have been hoping that his newfound power would finally come into its own. Because the two had a score to settle.

Back in 1981, when Roger Boesche had last seen Obama, ‘Barry’ (as he was then known) appealed against the B grade his politics professor had given him for a paper on European political thought. Boeshe rejected the appeal.

Obama transferred to Columbia University, and the two kept in only sporadic email contact until the professor received an invitation for him and his family to visit the White House.

Twenty-eight years later and that B grade still stung. "He still didn't agree with that grade" said Boesche.

The professor stood firm. Despite that the fact that the president charmed both Boesche's wife and his daughter last week, Obama's grade remains unammended.

I am very skeptical about the truth of this article. Buckwheat graduated from Columbia in 1983, yet email wasn't available to the public until about 1990. Is anything about him that cannot be called in to question?

Good catch on the email thing Mike. I have no idea if this is true or not. But with so much unknown, he's going to have many rumor or "misspoke" fact imaginable, written about him.
