I have felt sorry for the poor schmo for a long time now. But he was never cut out to be an executive of anything, let alone a country. We have Karl Rove to thank for this mess, him and Dick Cheney and the RNC.

And Bill Clinton, and Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd.....

So the answer is a foreign national who comes from the most corrupt political machine in the country who has a history of poor personal associations, who belonged to a racist organization for 20 years, who keeps large chunks of his life under lock and key, who had no political accomplishments and no executive experience and who is a Socialist.

Thank you so very much. Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton, etc... would be soooo proud of what you chose to lead their country.

We broke out the beer at my house last night. Seems like I had been waiting for this day for far too long.

in 4 years, Obama will make Bush look like a hero.

It won't take that long.

Obama thinks George Washington was the first president. That is how clueless he is. He had never heard of Hanson or the others before Washington was elected. No president has done more in one year than Hanson did. Just about everything he framed is still in effect today - right down to the presidential seal.

Thats right I missed Bush's farewell speech--golly gee shucky darns I'm all choked up   :p ....

I stopped at the waterhole after the cow sale-and everybody there was more interested in watching the Weather Channel to see when warm weather arrives--and talking about the terrible cow prices thanks to Bushenomics...
Maybe Paul was smart not switching to that channel- afraid someone might throw a beer bottle at his TV in a farewell salute to GW.....

Bushenomics? You're ignoring reality. Most of our economic problems today have their origins in the mortgage mess - and that was caused by Democrats. What is doubly pathetic and sick is that the same morons who caused this mess are still in charge and now they've got the job to fix the mess.

God help us all.

You are so wrong. Do you know my opinions on other Republicans. I adored John Warner. I respected Tom Davis (for awhile). I liked John McCain until a Republican conservative journalist friend of mine told me how McCain is fickle and also he came up with the Department of Homeland Security and it's been a wreck.

There are plenty of great Republican politicians but frankly Cheney and Rumsfeld were trouble, Cheney most of all. Bush I feel pity for because he was not up to the task and let Cheney railroad him the first term. And the academic neocons who thought we could say the Middle East by bringing democracy to countries where there are basically tribes at war, well they did mean well, but they have a huge amount to answer for.

Pity for Bush? With all due respect, you give him too much "credit." He left the citizens of Arlington, TX holding one great big bag with the new stadium he intimidated them into building with their tax dollars, and scooted off with millions. As far as I'm concerned, he's as culpable as Rush and Cheney and the rest of the Bushivicks. And his idiocy as the governor of Texas? Man oh man...the only person he pardoned off death row was Henry Lee Lucas! And, lest we forget how he gutted the CHILD welfare system.

Doubt you are convincing him as much as you are trying to convnce yourself!
