The Bible vs Qu'ran - Textual Integrity

Basically the Koran cannot be verified textually, or with archeology..... whereas the New Testament can be verified 100's & 100's of times over. The Koran is made up fiction using common stories from the day. Most all Theology Professors believe this, except the Muslim ones.

Over the years I have heard clergy fall into the trap of calling parts of the Bible as "just stories" so they do not have to do the real work of defending GOD's work..

and then others fall into the trap of making stuff up to defend or worse discount parts of the Bible.

clergy need to be at the top of thier calling and be ready to defend our faith.. unfortunatly many are not up to the calling..

one example that irks me the most is how some discount GOD's work

here is one example.. From a Reverend I look up to and respect.

Q:
Where did Adam and Eve's sons get their wives? I've heard people talk about this for years, but I've never heard anyone give a clear answer.
A:

The Bible doesn’t say where Adam and Eve’s first two sons — Cain and Abel — got their wives, although it does tell us that Cain and his wife had at least one child (Enoch). The usual assumption is that Cain and Abel married their sisters. (Later this was forbidden by the Old Testament, but was necessary at the beginning of the human race.)
fact is.. the Bible doesn't say that,..

so instead of making an assumption... and discounting our lord's power they make parts up..

Revelation 22:19

I will use this online text to explain how we are warned against this very thing...

Context
Nothing May Be Added
18I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

another warning
Deuteronomy 4:2
1"Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you may live and go in and take possession of the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, is giving you. 2"You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

We remember that at the end of the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, the author, John, issues a warning and a curse upon any man who adds to or takes away from the book. Specifically, these are the words he wrote:

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

“And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

there are diferances between the differant bibles denominatios use.. but the warning is clear..

and as long as we rely on the actual given word of our Lord, it will stand up.
