The criminals they love must make them say stupid things.

Do the criminal's friends or family ever think before they talk?

A man shot and killed after a scuffle with police in Roy moved to Utah years ago to turn his life around, according to a friend.

ya...

except the lifelong criminal and gangbanger had a gun....

Officers shot Sanchez after he pulled out a handgun and pointed it at police, Perry said. He was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police said in a statement that Sanchez had an “excessive criminal history” in California and Utah and was recently terminated from federal probation.

Sanchez was an ex-gang member, but left that life behind when he moved to Utah years ago, said Annette Olsen of Layton.

“He’s a good kid. A really good kid,” Olsen said. “He had a really good heart. He loved everybody.”

Sanchez met Olsen in 2008 while working with a construction crew on a remodel of her home. After construction jobs dried up following the recession, she offered him a job working at her dog kenneling business.

exccept he had a gun,, oops several guns  :? :???:

In August 2010, police obtained a search warrant for Sanchez’s Clearfield home and found several guns. Police also searched a storage unit at a business property owned by Olsen and found several other firearms.

Sanchez admitted the firearms were his, according to court records, and that he knew he shouldn’t have any because of his felony history in California. Sanchez pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of three handguns, five rifles, one shotgun and around 1,600 rounds ammunition on July 22, 2011. One charge of marijuana possession was dismissed.

Sanchez was sentenced to five years in federal prison and three years probation. Olsen helped Sanchez hire a lawyer for the case. She also submitted a letter to the court testifying about Sanchez’s good character. The letter noted Olsen and Sanchez had been working to educate students about staying out of gangs.

“What frustrates me is he was in possession of firearms. He wouldn’t have hurt anyone, he liked to go target shooting,” she said. “I can see if he were robbing someone and he had a gun, but he just had (guns) in his house.”

After serving his prison term, Sanchez lived in a halfway house and worked for Olsen at her dog business. He later moved into Olsen’s home.

maybe they should THINK about what they just said, before they say it?

“He was starting to finally make a good life for himself,” she said. “He was working really, really hard for that. He had a couple of slip-ups here and there.”

a couple? like anther gun in his waist band.. yep, that is a slip up... like harassing a store owner enough the guy called the police,.. who incidentally found a gun hanging out the gangbanger's waist.

Oh did I mention,.. he should not even had been here to begin with?
39 year old Nicolas Sanchez was born in Mexico and came to the United States illegally. He recently robbed a convenience store while toting a firearm. However, he showed the firearm accidently when he kept pulling his arms up to shrug saying,

“I don’t have nothing.”

maybe that worked in the past..
Sanchez did have an extensive criminal history, which included charges of assault, battery, robbery, drug possession, possession of stolen property, gang activity, weapons violations, controlled substance violations, parole violations, DUI, unlawful discharge of a weapon at a person from a car, and attempted murder.

I am sure he would have been safer in California as they want to protect criminals like him..

It is people like Annette Olsen that are the biggest part of the problem. Sanchez was a ILLEGAL FELON and should not have been in the US let alone have a friggin gun and she knew it and protected him with her ignorance. If he had pulled it on her she would have expected the Police to risk their lives to protect her you can bet on it. But would she report him NO as she is likely a liberal loon that thinks everyone deserves to live where ever they want and do what ever pleased them and to hell with the consequences. I wish there was a law that anyone supporting illegal felons staying in their communities should be held accountable for said felons actions. They rob a bank you go to prison, they kill some one you go to prison, they rape someone you go to prison. Maybe if a few mayors were charged with murder or rape due to the illegals they harbor they would change their minds about ruling over a sanctuary city.

:agree:

The liberals worst fault other the lack of common sense is lack of personnel responsibilities for ones actions..

This guy had 1600 rounds of ammo,.. I can blast through a bit but that is more then an occasional target shooting.. that alone should have taken her blinders off..

Three handguns, five rifles, a shotgun,.. not unusual, but not legal, he is an illegal,.. for starters.

In general, non-immigrant aliens are forbidden to possess any firearms or ammunition. But there is a big exception for a legal alien who:

...is in possession of a hunting license or permit lawfully issued in the United States

(See Title 18, USC Chapter 44, Section 922, part (y)(2) for details.)

What are the firearms possession rules for non-U.S. citizens?

It is a class C felony for any person who is not a citizen of the United States to carry or possess any firearm, unless the person: 1) Is a lawful permanent resident; 2) has obtained a valid alien firearm license pursuant to RCW 9.41.173; or 3) meets the requirements of RCW 9.41.175.

A nonimmigrant alien, who is not a resident of (the state) or a citizen of Canada, may carry or possess any firearm without having first obtained an alien firearm license if the nonimmigrant alien possesses: A valid passport and visa showing he/she is in the country legally, an approved U.S. Department of Justice ATF-6 NIA application and permit for temporary importation of firearms and ammunition by nonimmigrant aliens—if required under federal law, a valid hunting license, or an invitation to participate in a trade show or sport-shooting event being conducted in Washington or in close proximity.

that is just the starters.. this guy was a gang member.. an illegal,.. A CONVICTED FELON! and she still went all out in protecting him. He hid his guns in her storage building.. .is she really that stupid?

She must be to ignore all that AND still say he was trying to turn his life around after he pulled a gun on the police... FOR (-----'-) sake, he was not a good kid, he was 38,.. he ------ knew better.

AND
an extensive criminal history, which included charges of assault, battery, robbery, drug possession, possession of stolen property, gang activity, weapons violations, controlled substance violations, parole violations, DUI, unlawful discharge of a weapon at a person from a car, and attempted murder.

He should have been deported and she aided and abetted his crimes. She should have been charged along with him on the weapons charges... and especially his final crime of gun possession and attempted murder.. a crime he is now paying for...

Nice Point about the liberals who aid and abet illegal criminals.

Criminal
Aiding and abetting is an additional provision in United States criminal law, for situations where it cannot be shown the party personally carried out the criminal offense. Under this statute, anyone who aids or abets a crime may be charged directly with the crime, as if the charged had carried out the act himself.[7] This is distinct from the concept of being an accessory after the fact, a charge distinct from being a principal.

It might not get proven, but put enough legal pressure on them and others might think twice,.. if they had any common sense that is.. :?

OK rant over... sorry, but these two police officers lives will be changed forever, the investigation, the second guessing, the guilt, yes, he may have well deserved it. But good men do not pull a trigger, take a life and not question themselves later.. I feel for them and their families and hope if either one of them has problems later this person who stood by this thug steps up for them, I doubt it.

BLUE lives MATTER! I imagine they hurt and feel more then one could imagine after this type of horrific experience.. because I know many vets do.

If Trump backs down in the least bit on illegal immigration, I will personally work and organizer to march on his front lawn in Florida.. (in the winter of course,... to dang hot in the summer..)

I am so sick of Republicans backing down when the Liberals start pushing. They need to get a friggin backbone or the US is doomed to be taken back by the nanny state open border loons that run sanctuary cities and support ILLEGAL FELONS rights to carry a gun. He did not buy those guns so did Olsen buy them for him so he could turn his life around and still do target practice? SICK

That is an interesting question,.. sure wish the locals asked it and pursued it as someone bought them,.. my bet is she did...

I agree someone should be prosecuted when Illegals get a pass they do NOT deserve and walk free in our country...

Noe another note,.. do liberals realize by taking in the "hard working" and those trying to escape the violence it leaves the non working, criminals and those who will not fight back left behind... which makes it worse.

some may be well intended, but leaving is not a solution if you care about your country. So to me the flag waving illegals and immigrants are a bunch of cowards.. the liberals who bemoan what they left are just as bad fro not actually moving off their sofa's to do something that would actually solve the problem..
